Our Mission

At RAMS Adoption Centre, our mission is to provide a safe haven for unwanted animals through compassionate and responsible practices. We strive to promote responsible pet ownership through education, community outreach, and compassionate care. Our focus is on supporting families and communities in rural Manitoba by providing refuge and finding loving homes for animals in need. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of animals and create a more humane society.

Our Vision

Our vision at RAMS Adoption Centre is to be the leading animal shelter in rural Manitoba by building strong communities through meaningful work and providing a compassionate, loving refuge to animals in need.

Our Values

Compassion: We are motivated to relieve the suffering of the animals that are in our care in an ethical, kind and responsible manner.

Community: We have a strong sense of fellowship with our teammates, the community we serve the animals we help.

Kindness: We believe in being selfless, caring, compassionate, and unconditionally sympathetic.

Responsibility: We are accountable to, and are trusted by our community, the animals we aid and each other to offer a safe haven and find loving homes for animals in need.

Meaningful work: We are fulfilled by undertaking the essential task of reducing the suffering of animals in our community. Our day-to-day efforts are both appreciated and connected to something that transcends our personal interests.
